Close-up Photography On-Line Special Interest Group

Wednesday evening 17th June saw the 3rd meeting on Zoom of the CPS Close-Up Virtual Group.  So far these have proved to be quite popular with an average of 17 participants at each of the first three sessions.     Common techniques and problems encountered with Close-Up / Macro photography such as Depth of Field, lenses, high ISO and noise etc. have been among the topics freely discussed.   Images and experiences have been shared and work-arounds debated.

Close-up photography is such a large topic that there’s still much to cover in future meetings.  We’ll also be taking a look at Table Top photography and Focus Stacking before moving on to other areas of interest.

The last meeting before the summer was on Wed 15th July, 2020.
