Well we have nearly come to the end of the first half of our 2021-22 season, which has gone really well, despite having to carry out our club nights on line again via the Zoom meeting system. We have maintained an attendance of 30+ members enjoying speakers talking about a great variety of subjects. Several visitors have joined us on these evenings and have said they enjoyed the presentations.
We have had some excellent pictures submitted to the competitions held so far, giving the judges a difficult task to select the winners. So well done, Keith Fitzpatrick, Ron Sutton and John Wild. Regretfully we will not be holding our Christmas Social again this year, nor our Christmas dinner in January due to the uncertain Covid restrictions.
I would like to extend a special thank you to those committee members that have worked so hard behind the scenes to bring you our Tuesday evening enjoyment and thank you all for joining in each week.
I would also like to thank Jan & Phil Wilding for organising the Discussion Evenings, during which we have discussed all sorts of topics revolving around photography. They have been very informative and helpful. You are all welcome to join in to put your experiences, ideas or find out how to do something. It is a very free and easy format. Looking ahead I hope we can have another successful period in the new year and maybe meet up at some point.
With this in mind I would like to wish you all,
A Very Happy and Pleasant Christmas with
Your Families and Friends.
My very best wishes
Graham Latter
